A Place to Grow in Christian Faith and Love
| Each year kids have an opportunity to be involved in mission projects for our VBS week. This helps them put into practice lessons of caring and sharing they learn each day. This year's VBS mission is the collection of school supplies and money gifts to go to Fellowship and Faith, a Topeka District ministry (run out of the East Topeka United Methodist Church) which provides classes and other support to East Topeka families. School supplies will be collected; and our TWEENS VBS class will prepare these kits for August "back to school" night at Fellowship and Faith. Money offerings collected will be used to purchase further school supplies, or be given directly for other needs in the East Topeka community. Items you can give are: notebook paper, spiral notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, erasers, scissors, (book) bags..new or lightly used. |
