Adult Sunday Classes
Families class supports parents with growing families through curriculum and DVDs that address contemporary issues of moral values in the context of Christian Discipleship. The group gathers in the dining room at 9:35 AM for study, fellowship, and spiritual growth as Christian Disciples seeking to live in faithful obedience to God in their calling as parents. Please contact Paul Swank (267-1914) for more information.
Friends class is a group of faith-seekers who support each other through sharing of concerns and celebrations and prayer followed by lively discussion of a variety of topics led by class members. They meet at 9:35 AM in Classroom B2 on the lower level of the sanctuary building. All are invited to join in our fellowship and study. For further information, contact Don Daniels at dondaniels@cox.net or 266-3309.
Life 101 is a class whose members have experienced many lessons in their faith journey, but know many lessons are yet to be learned. We study and discuss books from contemporary writers, but we do special studies during Advent and Lent. We are found in Classroom B1 and meet at 9:35 AM. Please come share your faith journey experiences with us.
Pneuma class meets at 9:35 AM in Classroom B5. This class utilizes study books, personal Bible, and other Bible helps. Contacts are Les Carlson (266-6724) or Judy Shetter (271-8932).
Reflections class meets in Classroom B6 from 9:35 to 10:20 led by Pam Rector. At the present time they are following the Lectionary for their lesson plans. They focus on studying the scriptures and how it affects our walk with Christ. They are an incredibly fun group and have a class party every two months. Come join us as we lift one another up and strive to be God’s hands and voice in our everyday walk.
Seekers class meets at 10:45 AM in Classroom B6 led by Greg Johnson. John Wesley encouraged all United Methodists to become involved in small groups. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who worship at the 9:45 Celebration Service to share their faith with others.
