CHILDREN:

Newborns through 6th graders are special at Countryside!

Child care is available each Sunday morning from 8:15 am – 12:15 pm for infants through Kindergarten,  and is offered, as needed for other ministries and activities.

Babies & Woddlers, teaching faith in the nursery, is incorporated into the Sunday morning
child care time.

For 3 year old’s – 6th grade:

Sunday School classes at both the 9:35 and 10:45 hours each Sunday

Wednesdays for Kids from September through mid-May for 1st – 6th grades

Childrens Choirs for 1st – 6th grades:  “Our childrens choirs meet during the Wednesday for Kids program which is held September through May on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30.  The children sing once a month in worship during the school year, and perform a spring musical. The Alleluia Singers, directed by Jamie Meyer, is for children in grades 3-6.  The Promise Choir, directed by Donna Conklin, is for children in grades 1 and 2.  For more details, call Jamie Meyer (266-7541).

Childrens Bells for 3rd – 6th grades: Rehearsals during Wednesdays for Kids activities September through May.

Dance Troupe An energetic group of youth, ranging in age from grades 1-10 make up our dance troupe. Using a variety of dance moves and techniques, the troupe brings dance into our worship services on a regular basis.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) for 3 year old’s – 7th grades, mornings one week in mid-July

Acolytes, an opportunity for 2nd – 6th graders to serve in 8:30 and 11:00 worship

Kids Easter Discovery the day before Easter from 10:00 – 11:30 am

Created by God, a human sexuality event for 5th & 6th graders, every other spring (odd years)

Countryside Preschool (CUMPS) -  a dynamic preschool serving children from 2 ½ – 6 years old

Safe and Sacred Spaces Certification is a requirement of persons working with children and youth at Countryside. Go to kansaseast.org for information on scheduled training classes.
