United Methodist Women Program
United Methodist Women is an organization of women in the church who are dedicated to using their everyday lives to glorify God. There are four areas that we concentrate our programs and resources to accomplish this goal. These areas are spiritual growth, social action, education and interpretation of global issues, nurturing fellowship and outreach. We enjoy fellowship and new friends we make in UMW while doing mission work for the church, locally and globally. We have unit meetings on the fifth Tuesday of the month. The Unit meetings begin with a light supper at 6:15 PM followed with a meeting and program at 7:00 PM.
We have four circles(small groups) that meet once a month. During the summer schedules may vary. Blessing Circle meets the third Monday at 7:00 PM, Koinonia Circle meets the third Wednesday at 9:00 AM, Stepping Stones Circle meets the first Tuesday at 7:00 PM, and Susanna Circle meets the third Wednesday at 1:00 PM,. Each circle has a fellowship time, a program and a short meeting. The circles usually have a service project in which they are involved.
Child care is provided at all Unit meetings and can be provided at any circle meetings when it is needed. Watch our bulletin board in the Commons to keep up-to-date on current activities and issues involving UMW. All women are invited and welcome to become members.
